At Bovises, we strive to deliver your sewing materials and handicraft supplies quickly, reliably, and at transparent costs. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping options, delivery timelines, fees, and procedures to help you understand how your orders are processed and delivered. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Shipping Eligibility & Coverage
We ship orders to all countries worldwide (with exceptions for regions restricted by international trade regulations or shipping carriers). If your location is unavailable for shipping, you will be notified during the checkout process.
1.1 Restricted Items
Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions due to size, weight, or local regulations, including:
- Large or heavy items (e.g., industrial sewing machine parts) may have limited shipping destinations.
- Flammable materials (e.g., certain adhesives or sprays) may not be eligible for international shipping.
If your order contains restricted items, our customer support team will contact you to resolve the issue.
2. Order Processing Time
Before your order is shipped, we process and prepare it for fulfillment. Our standard processing times are:
- Standard Orders: Processed within 24–48 hours (excluding weekends and major holidays).
- Bulk Orders (10+ units of a single item or total order value over $200): Processed within 1–3 business days (we will notify you of any delays via email).
- Custom/Personalized Orders: Processed within 3–5 business days (production time varies by product; estimated processing time is listed on each custom product page).
You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order, and a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
3. Shipping Options & Delivery Timelines
We offer a range of shipping options to meet your needs, with delivery timelines varying by destination and service level.

Note: International delivery times do not include customs clearance delays, which are beyond our control. Customs processing can add 1–5 business days (or longer in some cases) depending on your country’s regulations.
4. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated based on your order’s weight, destination, and selected shipping option. You can view the exact shipping cost for your order during the checkout process before completing payment.
4.1 Domestic Shipping Fees (United States)
- Standard Shipping: Free for orders over \(50; \)4.99 for orders under $50.
- Expedited Shipping: $12.99 flat rate.
- Overnight Shipping: \(24.99 flat rate (plus \)5 for remote areas).
4.2 International Shipping Fees
- Standard International Shipping: Calculated by weight (starting at $9.99 for orders under 1 lb).
- Express International Shipping: Calculated by weight (starting at $24.99 for orders under 1 lb).
- Free International Shipping: Available for orders over $200 (standard shipping only; excludes bulky/heavy items).
Note: Bulk and oversized items may incur additional shipping fees, which will be displayed at checkout.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by your country’s government. These charges are not included in your order total or shipping fees.
- Customs Declarations: We are required by law to declare the full value of your order on customs forms. We cannot mark orders as “gifts” or underdeclare their value to avoid customs fees.
- Payment of Fees: Customs fees are typically collected by the shipping carrier upon delivery. If you refuse to pay these fees, your order may be returned to us, and you will be responsible for the return shipping cost plus a 15% restocking fee (unless the return is due to our error).
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you can track its status using one of the following methods:

- Carrier Website: Use the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation to track directly on the carrier’s website (e.g., USPS, DHL, FedEx).

7. Address Changes & Corrections
If you need to change or correct your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We can only modify addresses within 2 hours of order placement—after that, the order may have already been processed and shipped, and we cannot guarantee address changes.
If an order is delivered to an incorrect address due to your error, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the order.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Undelivered Orders
8.1 Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your order is marked as “shipped” but not delivered within the estimated timeline:
- Domestic Orders: Contact us after 7 business days (standard shipping) or 3 business days (expedited/overnight shipping) of the estimated delivery date.
- International Orders: Contact us after 21 business days (standard shipping) or 10 business days (express shipping) of the estimated delivery date.
We will investigate the issue with the shipping carrier. If the order is confirmed lost, we will offer a full refund or free replacement (your choice).
8.2 Stolen Orders
If your order is marked as “delivered” but you did not receive it, please first check with your neighbors, building manager, or local post office (carriers often leave packages in secure locations). If the package cannot be located, contact us within 5 business days of the delivery date. We will require a police report (for orders over $100) to process a refund or replacement.
9. Shipping to PO Boxes & Military Addresses
- PO Boxes: We ship to domestic PO boxes via USPS Standard Shipping only. Expedited and overnight shipping are not available for PO boxes.
- Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO): We ship to military addresses via USPS Standard Shipping, with delivery timelines of 7–14 business days.
